    This past weekend, the IBMA awards and showcase took over Nashville, TN. Artists and groups from all over the world traveled to The Historic Ryman Auditorium to join in a celebration of the best that bluegrass has to offer.     Pictured here is our good friend and endorsing artist Marc Pruett picking up his  Maple Vintage 35 from Murrell Thixton with Sullivan Banjo Company.   Marc put his new banjo right to work that Friday afternoon when Balsam Range hit the stage at the IBMA giving the audience a smoking hot performance.   • Sullivan Banjo “Prototype 2″ Delivered First Quality Music

    Sullivan Banjo has sent one of the last remaining prototypes of the Vintage 35 to First Quality Music to be sold off.   This banjo has an old growth wood rim and the new Vintage 35 tone ring.  The neck and resonator are mahogany, and the resonator has concentric rings.   It has the standard Vintage 35 inlay pattern in a Brazilian rosewood fingerboard.   Check with First Quality Music for details on the sale price....

        Today we'd like to introduce to you our very own "Banjo Yoda"  Tony Wray.  Tony was born and raised in Peru, Indiana where at age 13 he began learning the guitar and banjo by studying old jazz recordings.   Quickly developing his craft at age 17, Tony moved to Missouri to work with the Ezelle Family for a year and then on to the Shepherd of The Hills play in Branson where he would spend the next 2 years.  1999 would find Tony in Nashville, Tennessee where he  wo...
