Occasionaly, a very exceptional piece of neck wood comes along; Eric squirrels it away.
Later, he happens across a matching resonator. He hides that back also. I see him looking at
every wood rim that comes in, so I know something is brewing. He's at it again. Sure enough a
fancy custom fingerboard is in the works, special bindings, engravings, fancy color treatment etc.
What we have in the end are one of a kind pieces of art that are a pleasure to look at

The Sullivan Presentation banjo is our first limited production instrument. This edition is limited to only 12 banjos. Standard features include investment grade Brazilian Rosewood fingerboard and peg head overlay, master grade curly maple neck and resonator, submerged "old wood" 3-ply maple rim, gold plated and engraved hardware, genuine mother of pearl buttons, and a Calton case. This particular banjo, # 5 of 12, is engraved with the King's Crown engraving.
